PERFECTION KILLS PROGRESS

Hi folks, we meet again. Today I felt like sharing something about perfection. I know that maybe some of us are struggling to do everything perfectly. I am too. Struggling to do things perfectly.

But at some time, perfection looks like nothing. I've struggled with perfection for the most part of my life. The shirt needs to perfectly ironed, the frame needs to fit perfectly. There's a voice in my head that whispers "It's not good enough, someone else did it better". It's not perfect. But the problem is, the chase of perfection often leads to nothing. Nothing gets started, nothing gets finished, nothing happened.

There's a saying that said, "Art is never finished". And maybe life as art itself, it may just be right. Then why should we wait for life to be perfect to start living? The chip on the bowl or a rough surface, that non liner line on the wood grains, or the orange cast on the sunset wrapping up the end of the day, it's perfectly okay to be imperfect.

There is beauty in the imperfections we live in. And that maybe just having something is better than nothing. We're all imperfectly perfect. Live your life. Don't let perfection hold you back. Take the leap, and make it happen!

Your dearest,
Haqim Malek
